A CONCERNED school worried about road safety after a spate of near misses involving pupils and cars has had a new crossing installed.Whitehall Junior School in Delves Road has had a school safety zone implemented after head teacher Liz Attwood raised her concerns to local councillor Mohammed Arif.It now has a crossing complete with new LED beacons, improved 'school zone' signs and new "slow" markings to help maintain low vehicle speeds and improve safety around the school entrance.St....
